Today was one of the hardest days imaginable. My little guy was not doing well and we had to make the hard choice of letting go of him. Dr Bartell made the experience feel like he was simply going home. When it was all said and done, she had a soft bed, she laid him in it covered him up and it was as though he was simply sleeping. I’m so happy that this was the right choice for me. I am grateful for the beautiful and amazing care taken and how personal it all was.

One of the hardest things we have ever had to do was to say goodbye to our dear and sweet boy, Mojo. Dr. Shanan was not only available to us, but also respectful and considerate, and he showed compassionate to us and to Mojo throughout the entire process. We wanted to make things as comfortable as possible for our loving boy Mojo when crossing over the rainbow bridge, and we were able to do this and give him a dignified farewell thanks to the help of Dr. Shanan.

We called on a Sunday morning as our dear Scout had taken a turn and we needed to have her taken care of sooner than we expected. We are so grateful for Dr. Brooke. She provided such timely care, warm and compassionate. My children and I appreciate her and the home care she provided. We all were in good hands.

I can’t even begin to describe what a blessing Dr. Shanan (and his staff) have been. I prayed and my prayers were answered…

Dr Shanan is not just an ordinary Veterinarian, he has a gift!

Don’t even think twice if you are in desperate need. Hands down you won’t find anyone better. Precious (16yo fem tabby cat) and I are forever grateful.

Dr. Shanan was a blessing for me when it came time to put my 5 month old kitten down. She suffered from FIP, and deteriorated very quickly. It was the hardest decision I ever had to make, but I knew my Romy would leave us soon, and I didn’t want her to suffer anymore. I called the office and asked for a last minute appointment and Dr. Shanan was able to accommodate later that afternoon. I couldn’t ask for anyone more compassionate and loving to have helped me see my girl off with grace. I will always be grateful for Compassionate Hospice for their assistance during this time.
