Compassionate Veterinary Hospice is a Referral Practice!

Our reason for existence is to ensure that your clients and patients experience the best possible care in life and in death.  We are proud to see ourselves as an extension of the excellent care that you provide. We work closely with you and the pets’ other care providers to design the best plan of care for keeping the beloved pet comfortable. Your clients will be grateful to know how much you care at the end of their pet’s life when you refer them to the experience and expertise available from the Compassionate Veterinary Hospice team.

Our Focus

Pain Management

Chronic pain is a “moving target”. We are dedicated to tailoring an individual treatment plan for each patient’s unique needs, with meticulous monitoring and frequent regimen adjustments, so we can best meet caregivers’ goals for their pets.

Caregiver Support

Your referral is not just for the patient; our dedication to caregiver support is a large part of what we do for your clients.  Facing the end of life can be heartbreaking for devoted pet owners. We’re here to offer our time and expertise to help support caregivers in their time of most need, with continued grief support, respite care, and access to licensed clinical social workers.

Dedication and availability

For all your patients’ and clients’ urgent needs, we offer 24/7 care once they have established a relationship with us.

The Best End-of-Life Experience Possible

We thoroughly discuss goals for treatment with your clients to help them achieve the “path of least regrets” for their pet’s end of life.  As their primary care veterinarian, you’ve helped them have the best care in life; we’re here to give the best care at the end of life and in death.
